News — Steampunk

As promised, since lace and capes are all the rage at the moment (not only has Bridgerton sparked the trend, there are plenty of capes in The Other Bennet Sister currently running on BBC1) mum has been busy between orders creating some amazing new products. Perfect for Spring evenings, events, Steampunk and weddings, each is unique so make sure you have a look before they go .... They look extra special with brooches from The Witchy Squirrel if you want to be even more trendy! 

We've just added some new jabots to the shop. These ruffled accessories seem to be popping up all over the place at the moment on television in period dramas and comedies and have always been popular with aficionados of steampunk. Obviously cheaper options are available, but ours are all made with Nottingham Lace, most of which is vintage, and we have several unique designs in white, ivory and black. Lovely to wear over a shirt or blouse, they are sure to attract attention and give that extra something to your outfit .......

We've gathered together all our 'Gothy' products into a new Lace Gothic Collection, which we hope you enjoy. More will be added in due course. We know these, particularly the cape and shawl, will look amazing teamed with the brooches available from The Witchy Squirrel, so we're planning to take some photos to showcase them!
